TJ Bird (Director/Ezekiel/Mr. Snoring Man/Ensemble)
TJ is from Decatur, IN, and graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s in Voice Performance. Some career highlights are that they toured with Missoula Children’s Theatre, performed six seasons with the Round Barn Theatre at the former Amish Acres, and have covered many different staff and technical positions throughout their career. Favorite credits include: Nicely-Nicely Johnson in GUYS AND DOLLS, Eugene in SH-BOOM!, Jesus in GODSPELL, Pap/King in BIG RIVER, Mr. Bumble in OLIVER! and Willard Hewitt in FOOTLOOSE! Mackenzie Block (Rhoda/Ensemble)
Mackenzie Block (she/her) is a performer and choreographer based in Chicago, and is so excited to be a part of White Christmas! She is a graduate of the Chicago College of Performing Arts with a BFA in musical theatre with a dance concentration. Recent credits include: Hairspray (Brenda, The Beverly Arts Center), The Wolves (Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center), The Pajama Game (CCPA). Katherine Carl (Betty Haynes)
Katherine is delighted to be part of White Christmas at the Towle! Recent roles include Charlotte (Superhero), Olivia (Illyria), and Helsa Wenzel (Musical Comedy Murders of 1940). She is a professor of business analytics at Governors State University and is grateful to her husband, friends, and family for their support.
Amanda Donohoe (Tessie, Seamstress/Gloria Ensemble)
She has performed in Surging Film & Theatrics Jeff nominated productions of The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet van de Graaff), and Urinetown (Little Becky Two Shoes). Other credits include Rent (Maureen) at Highland Park Players, Elephant and Piggie’s “We are in a Play!” (Piggie) with Big Noise Theatre, A Christmas Carol (Ensemble, Mrs. Fezziwig u.s) at Metropolis P.A.C, Joseph…Dreamcoat (Zebulun) at The Dells Palace Theater, and Reefer Madness (Sally) at the Towle Theatre. Among these shows she is also a children’s theatre director it Little Noise Theatre.
Beck Hokanson (Phil Davis)
Originally from Los Angeles, Beck is a graduate of CCPA @ Roosevelt (BFA MT '24) and the Second City Conservatory. Peter Kattner (Conductor/Jimmy/Jim/GI Ensemble)
Peter is excited to be a part of his first production with Towle Theater! Previous credits include Lucky in Dames at Sea, Chip Tolentino in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Neville Landless in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Rebecca Mactaggart (Rita/Mrs. Snoring Man/Ensemble)
Rebecca Mactaggart(She/Her) is delighted to be making her Towle Theatre debut. She graduated from CCPA at Roosevelt University with a BFA in Musical Theater. Most recently she played Amber in Hairspray at Uptown Music Theater, other credits include include: Spring Awakening (CCPA), Merrily We Roll (The Blank Theatre), Jerry’s Girls (Incline Theatre), The Sound of Music (La Comedia Dinner Theatre). Gary Murphy (General Waverly)

Darrow Richmond (Mike Nulty, Announcer/GI Ensemble)
Darrow Richmond, 23, is an award winning performer thrilled for his Towle debut. From Illinois, Richmond has performed in Sister Act, Big (Big Josh), Aida (Mereb), Bright Star (Billy Cane), Dreamgirls (C.C. White), and Hairspray (Seaweed Understudy/Gilbert). Sal Rocha (Bob Wallace)
Sal Rocha is thrilled to join Towle Theatre’s White Christmas as Bob Wallace! Recent credits include You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Linus, Roxy Regional Theatre), Celtic Fyre (Tommy, Busch Gardens Williamsburg), White Christmas (Bob Wallace, Classic Theatre of Maryland), and A Christmas Carol (Bob Cratchit, Classic Theatre of Maryland).
Ellen Spann (Martha)
Ellen is an actor and musician based in Chicago. She is a lover of all things camp, folk music, and bicycling. Ellen writes alt-country music with her band Dear Hills. She is grateful for the support of her friends and family! @ellenbrilliantmindjuicyass
Matthew Williams (Sheldrake/Scooter/Ensemble)
Matthew is from Berea, KY, and graduated from the University of Kentucky as a Chemical Engineer in 2023. This is his second show in the Chicago area since moving from Kentucky in May, with his favorite roles including Lord Farquaad in Shrek the Musical, Max in The Play That Goes Wrong, and Vice Principal Panch in Putnam County Spelling Bee.
Nora Wragg (Susan/Cigarette Girl/Ensemble)
Nora is delighted to join White Christmas. Most recently, she had the opportunity to play Kathy Selden in Beverly Theater Guild’s Singin’ in the Rain. Nora is a second-year theater instructor/director at Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, Indiana. In her limited free time, she enjoys crocheting and talking.
