Suzanne is a graduate of The Players Workshop of Second City, The School at Steppenwolf and Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Her “day job” is producing specialized research in the field of Illinois workers’ compensation law. Her joy is her daughter, Kara, who is a college senior. Her insanity is having adopted 3 rambunctious rescue dogs! Mama’s Boy is Suzanne’s third production on the director’s side of the table. She assisted Jeff Casey with Cockeyed and Pageant Play and is looking forward to working on Towle’s upcoming comedy, The Smell of the Kill. As an actor, Suzanne’s favorite roles include 3 at the Towle: Shirley Valentine (Shirley); Good Boys and True (Elizabeth); and The Secrets of a Soccer Mom (Nancy). Other favorites include Lost in Yonkers (Bella); The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Maureen); Lend Me a Tenor (Maria Merelli); and Getting Out (Arlene). Thank you to my family and friends, especially my daughter Kara, for your love and support. Thank you to my dear friends, Jeff Casey and Kevin Bellamy, who are family, and who have graciously mentored me as I learn the fine art of directing. I could not have better mentors.
