Meghan is so thrilled to be here at the Towle playing Alison. Meghan has been acting since the age of 6 and has a Bachelor's degree in acting from Illinois State University. She has performed throughout the Chicagoland area and spent a year performing with Disney Cruise Lines on the Disney Magic. Favorite roles include- Amy in Company at Porchlight Music Theatre, The Witch in Into the Woods and Sarah Jane Moore in Assassins with Slate Theatre, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins at Oak Lawn Theatre, and Mother in Ragtime at the Chicago Heights Drama Group. When not acting, she works in sales and is mom to Stella, who is playing Small Alison and Cooper, the best little guy in the world! Thanks to Jeff, Kevin, and Elizabeth for making one of her dreams come true. This show is dedicated to Meghan's late father, Nick. Caption - I miss you more than you will ever know!!
Nicole Baker (Medium Alison)
Nicole is beyond thrilled to be making her Towle Theater debut with this amazing story! Nicole is a newer Chicagoan, originally from Boulder, CO and a graduate with her BM in musical theatre from Oklahoma City University. Most recently, Nicole has been seen in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Hairspray at Windy City Performs. Nicole would like to thank Jeff, Kevin, and Elizabeth for giving her this incredible opportunity and her friends, family and loved ones for their constant support and keeping her sane. Stella Hoyt (Small Alison)
Stella is thrilled to be at the Towle Theater playing one of her favorite roles. This past Fall, Stella had the pleasure of playing Small Alison for Victory Garden Theatre's production of Fun Home. Stella has been performing since the age of 4. Her favorite roles include Molly in Annie Warbucks at Theatre at the Center, Mary Claire in The Christmas Schooner at Mercury Theatre, Cosette in Les Miserable and Jane in Mary Poppins at Oak Lawn Theatre, and Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden at The Chicago Heights Drama Group. Stella is represented by Gray Talent and is a 6th grader who loves animals, barbies, and roller coasters. She would like to thank Jeff, Kevin, and Elizabeth for welcoming her into the Towle family. Gino Generelli (Bruce)
Gino is thrilled to be returning to the musical stage in his first production with Towle Theater. Some of his previous favorite roles include Giuliano (Big Love), Roberto/Ralph (Working), and Hero (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum). Gino studies acting at Green Shirt Studio and writing at Chicago Dramatists. He is a member of The Collective group with the Agency Theater Collective and is busy writing a period musical set during the protestant reformation. When he isn’t performing, rehearsing or furiously scribbling in a notebook, Gino owns and runs a small technology consulting company and loves to play board games with his many nerdy friends.
Heather Clark (Helen)
Heather is over-the-moon excited to collaborate with such a warm group of talented artists after her multi-year absence from the stage. Heather is mom to two spectacular kids – Addi and Phin and wife to the best husband on the planet – Bob. She’s also the Humanities Department chairperson for Ivy Tech, Lake County, where she teaches English and is the co-author of two books: Essays on Writing, and Talking Back. Previous roles include: Cinderella, The Witch, The Baker’s Wife, and Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods, Trina in Falsettos, and Jenny in Company. She is grateful to the Towle for giving her a chance to get back on stage, and to her family for picking up the slack while she was gone.
Lewis Rawlinson (Roy/Mark/Pete/Bobby Jeremy)
Lewis is excited to be back at the Fun Home after playing cello for Victory Garden Theater’s Regional Premiere! Lewis is a Chicago based actor, singer, cellist, and music director. He most recently assistant music directed Songs For a New World at Dominican University. Chicago credits include High Fidelity (Non-Equity Jeff Award - Production of a Musical, Refuge Theatre Project), bare: a pop opera (Refuge Theatre Project), Tug of War: Foreign Fire (band understudy, Chicago Shakespeare Theater), Marry Me A Little (band, Porchlight Music Theatre). Regional credits include Triassic Parq (Theatre Bay Area Award Nomination - Actor in a Principal Role, Ray of Light Theatre), Godspell (TBA Award nomination, OMG I Love That Show Productions), The Addams Family (Bay Area Premiere, Contra Costa Civic Theatre), Les Misérables (Broadway By The Bay), and Next to Normal (Venture Theatre). Rebecca Buechel (Joan)
Rebecca is thrilled to be a part of this production of her favorite musical. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a M.M. in Vocal Performance in 2017, and from Illinois Wesleyan University with a B.M. in Vocal Performance in 2015. Recently, she appeared as a member of the ensemble and understudied Lady Jane in Patience with The Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company, The Waitress in Speed Dating Tonight! with Cedar Rapids Opera Theater, Little Buttercup in HMS Pinafore and The Duchess of Plaza-Toro in The Gondoliers with Madison Savoyards, #3 in Transformations and Mistress Quickly in Falstaff with UW Opera Theatre. She currently teaches voice and piano at the British International School in Lincoln Park. She would like to thank her friends, family, and Stevie for all their love and support.
Jack Lopez (Christian)
Jack is delighted to be performing with Towle Theater for the first time. His last production was Big Fish the Musical at Lake Central High School. He is a freshman who has participated in two other productions there: Aesop’s Fables and Wiley and The Hairy Man. Jack has starred as Walter Hobbs in Elf Jr. The Musical. As well as We’ll Be Right Back After this Murder and Camp Twilight. He is thrilled to perform Fun Home with Towle Theater and can’t wait to produce more shows with them.
Derek Diehl (John)
Derek is thrilled to work with such a talented cast and director for his first show at Towle Theater. Recently, he has appeared as Noah Gellman in the SLATE production of Caroline, and Change and as Collin Craven in The Drama Group’s The Secret Garden. In addition to his interests on the stage, Derek is active in Boy Scouts and is a big Chicago Cubs fan! He would like to thank his family for their love and support. Enjoy the show!
